Fighter's Mindset

"I will injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.

In spite of those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.

"I respect him for that."

Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Paul's Background

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.

Commercial Attraction

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge earnings.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
