Aircraft Twirls Wildly into Palm Groves at Popular Southern California Beach
A chopper soaring near a well-attended coastal shoreline suddenly started spinning wildly, finally descending rapidly and crashing into a row of palm fronds as onlookers watched.
Videos shared on social media depict the aircraft starting to spin near Huntington Beach then plunging near the edge of the shore, where it ends up lodged amidst palm groves and a staircase near the shoreline route.
First Aid Details
Emergency responders said five people were transported to a medical facility including a pair who were in the aircraft and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” subsequent to the crash on that day.
Three individuals on the road were harmed. Information on their injuries were not yet released.
The reason for the accident was not yet disclosed.
